Day 4 Results

ATLANTA – On the final evening of the NCAA Championships, the 14th-ranked Florida women's swimming & diving teams collected three All-America honors.

The Gators finished the four-day meet in 13th-place, garnering 115 points over the course of the event. The 13th place finish is the highest since the 2014-15 season, when the women finished ninth overall with 129 points.

The three All-America honors came from Tylor Mathieu finishing 12th in the 1650 free, Talia Bates placing 16th in the 100 free and a seventh-place finish from the 400 free relay team of Ekaterina Nikonova, Talia Bates, Katie Mack and Micayla Cronk.

Talia Bates earned the second All-America Honorable Mention nod of the week after finishing 16th overall in the 100 free with a swim of 47.95.

1650 free (Timed Finals)
Tylor Mathieu led the way in her heat of the 1650 free with a swim of 16:03.73 to finish 12th overall and first in the heat. For her efforts, she was named Honorable Mention All-American for the second time in the meet.

Elise Bauer won the second heat and finished 17th overall, just outside the cusp of Honorable Mention All-American status, touching the wall in 16:06.48. Leah DeGeorge followed Bauer with a time of 16:17.07 to finish 28th in the event, while Anna Auld placed 33rd overall with a time of 16:20.09.

400 free relay
The 400 free relay team of Nikonova, Bates, Mack and Cronk absolutely demolished the standing school record of 3:12.37 en route to a seventh-place finish. Their swim of 3:11.07 is almost a second faster than Florida's previous program record, which the same quartet set earlier this year.

Cronk finished with the fastest time on the anchor leg, recording a 47.57 split to lead the Gators. Bates finished with a split of 47.66, while Mack swam a 47.79 in the third leg. Nikonova led off the relay with a 48.05 split in the last event of the championships.

200 back prelim
Mabel Zavaros dropped 1.32 seconds from her seed time in the 200 back prelim to touch the wall 20th overall with a time of 1:53.63. That time was just .02 seconds off breaking into Florida's Top-10.

100 free prelim
Bates earned her spot in the consolation final after finishing 18th overall in the prelim with a swim of 48.14. Ekaterina Nikonova followed closely behind, placing 19th overall with a time of 48.24. That swim pushed her eighth place in Florida's program history in the event.

200 fly prelim
Amanda Ray led the way in the 200 fly, finishing 24th overall with a time of 1:55.51. Mabel Zavaros – in her second event of day – placed 32nd in the race with a swim of 1:56.31.
