Given that the Oregon Ducks football program has the nation’s No. 6 recruiting class it should come as no surprise that the list of pledges is full of electric playmakers.
But few have seen their stock rise more in the past six months than 247Sports four-star cornerback Jahlil Florence, who is rated the nation’s No. 33 player at his position but could see a massive jump in the updated rankings.
On Friday, the 6-foot-1 1/2, 180-pound defensive back’s athletic prowess was again on display in a dazzling 95-yard kickoff return for a touchdown, as he made several nifty moves, broke a tackle and outran several would-be tacklers for the long score.

Earlier in the year, Florence generated rave reviews after holding a five-star prospect catch-less in a major California matchup.
It’s early, but the Lincoln (California) playmaker looks like he could be special when he arrives in Eugene.
