Five people alleged to be part of a Boulder County drug dealing ring that operated and communicated via Snapchat have been arrested as part of what officials are calling Operation Razzle Dazzle.
Michael Galvan, 30, is charged with 20 counts of distribution of a controlled substance, three counts of distribution of marijuana concentrate and money laundering, according to court records.
Brittany Kole, 22, is charged with two counts of distribution of a controlled substance, conspiracy to distribute controlled substances, two counts of possession with intent to distribute, four counts of distribution of marijuana concentrate, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a firearm during a drug felony.
Izaiah Sampson, 24, is charged with two counts of distribution of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession of a controlled substance, distribution of a controlled substance near a school, violation of a protection order and violation of bond.
Garrett Rexroad, 25, is charged with five counts of distribution of a controlled substance, two counts of possession with intent to distribute and three counts of possession of a controlled substance.
John Dilkes, 25, is charged with two counts of possession with intent to distribute and four counts of possession of a controlled substance.
All five have posted bond, with Galvan set for a preliminary hearing in November, Kole and Sampson set for hearings in December, and Dilkes and Rexroad scheduled for arraignments in January.
According to an arrest affidavit, a Boulder County Drug Task Force undercover detective on numerous occasions bought cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamine, ecstasy and Xanax from the drug ring, which Galvan told the detective was run primarily through Snapchat.
The detective was first introduced to Kole and Galvan through an informant at a buy in July 2019, and conducted numerous buys over the course of the next year at locations across the Front Range, including Boulder and Longmont.
According to the affidavit, the undercover detective primarily dealt with Galvan, but would meet other suspects depending on what drugs were needed.
Officials said there is a chance more charges or defendants could be added in the case.
