The season 13 American Ninja Warrior National Finals are swiftly approaching. Both the Qualifiers and the Semifinals have been filmed. The remaining competitors will head to Las Vegas in the coming weeks to take on the final four stages.
In order to become an “American Ninja Warrior Champion,” the competitor must complete all four stages of the National Finals. Stages one and two are timed. Stage three is a nearly impossible upper body gauntlet. Stage Four is an 80-foot rope climb that must be completed in 30 seconds. That’s the only way to reach the $1 million prize.
As with every year, we’re anxiously waiting to see if we’ll have another champion or not. Those thoughts always bring up a very disputable question.
Should there be additional prize money or a change to the prize money if more than one person completes Stage Four?
It has happened once before. In season seven, Isaac Caldiero and Geoff Britten both completed the final climb. However, Isaac had the faster time and took the title and the cash. A debate raged. The show hasn't faced that exact situation again, but it could happen considering the stacked field that was selected to participate in season 13.
Give us your thoughts. If more than one person completes Stage Four, what should happen? Should the $1 million be divided between them? Should there be a separate prize for the runner-up? Should nothing change at all?

- Reaching and completing Stage Four is an incredible accomplishment and should be rewarded no matter what.
OR
- There can be only one Champion per season. You have the fastest time or you go home empty-handed. Those are the rules and that’s how it works.
