Barack Obama didn't waste any time on Valentine's Day to give tribute to his favorite women.
"Happy Valentine's Day to the three who never fail to make me smile," he wrote alongside a family photo. "Your dazzling light makes everything brighter."
Michelle, in turn, posted her own Valentine's Day message for Barack. "Happy Valentine’s Day, @barackobama!," she wrote. "Life is always brighter when I'm by your side. ❤️"
The Obamas never miss a chance to share their love for each other on social media. On Michelle's birthday in January, Barack sent a sweet birthday shout-out to his wife of 28 years.
Even though Barack and Michelle aren't in the White House these days, but 1600 Pennsylvania has been full of love this week. First Lady Jill Biden surprised President Joe Biden with Valentines on the White House lawn.
The president revealed to reporters that Valentine's Day is his wife's absolute favorite holiday. When they asked what he'd gotten Jill for the holiday, the president kept quiet: "It's not Valentine's Day; I'm not telling you," he responded. "Valentine’s Day is a big day—Jill's favorite day for real."
He added some details about what Valentine's Day was like when he was vice president years ago: "The first year I was Vice President…I walked into my office, and every single pane [of] the Vice President’s office, see those panes—three, six, nine, 18 panes in each window—she had taken the school kind of paint the kids put on poster boards [and] put a heart that said 'Joe loves Jill.' None of them said 'Jill loves Joe,' they said 'Joe loves Jill' in every one."
